Beckley Horticultural Society is unable to hold its Autumn Show this year so instead is planning a virtual one. It will be open to everyone to enter whether they are a Member or not. With the exception of the children’s classes, there won’t be any judging or prizes, but we think it would be nice to share a few images from this year, and have chosen 7 classes that we hope will show what we’ve been growing over the past few months.
Classes as follows:-
- A vegetable person open to pre-school, Keystage 1 and Keystage 2 children.
This will be judged by members of the BHS and 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each class will be awarded with a certificate and prize.
- Photography Class – “My lockdown”
- A vase of annuals
- A vase of perennials
- A basket of vegetables
- A bowl of fruit
- A photograph of something that “brought you joy during lockdown”
Please send a photo of your entry (no bigger than 5mb) to zoe@orchardfarmflowers.co.uk ensuring that it states your name, show class entered and school year group if applicable (Class 1 only)
Closing date for photos is 10th September 2020
